Day 1: Arrival in Sri Lanka – Welcome to Negombo

 Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly received and transferred to the coastal town of Negombo. Known for its colonial charm and vibrant fishing villages, Negombo offers a perfect place to relax after your journey. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the beach or explore the lively local markets before settling in for the night.

Day 2: Negombo to Dambulla – Cultural Gateway

 Begin your cultural journey with a drive to Dambulla, located in Sri Lanka’s famed Cultural Triangle. En route, enjoy lush landscapes and rural village scenes. On arrival, visit the spectacular Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, housing over 150 Buddha statues and ancient murals. Check in at your hotel in Dambulla or nearby Sigiriya and unwind for the evening.

Day 3: Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Village Experience

 This morning, climb the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an ancient royal citadel built atop a towering rock column. Explore the iconic frescoes, mirror wall, and ruins of the palace at the summit. Later, experience authentic village life with a traditional bullock cart ride, canoe trip, and local lunch in Hiriwadunna. Return to your hotel and enjoy a restful evening in the Cultural Triangle.

Day 4: Spice Gardens & Sacred City of Kandy

 After breakfast, travel to Kandy, the spiritual and cultural capital of the island. Stop en route at a spice garden in Matale, where you’ll learn about Sri Lanka’s herbal and culinary traditions. Upon arrival in Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most revered Buddhist sites in the world. In the evening, enjoy a colorful Kandyan cultural dance performance. Day 5: Explore Kandy & Surroundings

Day 6: Hill Country Escape – Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
